The Physical Society of Hong Kong (PSHK) and the Institute of Physics Singapore (IPS) have signed a Reciprocal Membership Agreement, marking a significant step in fostering collaboration between the two societies. The agreement, signed on March 4, 2025, aims to enhance interactions and extend membership privileges to members of both organizations.

Under the new agreement, members of PSHK and IPS will enjoy reciprocal benefits, including the ability to submit papers and register for each other’s meetings at local member rates. The societies have also committed to improving information exchange about upcoming events, such as meetings, seminars, and workshops, and to encourage bilateral visits by their officers to strengthen ties and facilitate direct dialogue.

Zeng Bei, President of PSHK, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, "This agreement not only provides our members with greater opportunities to engage with the international physics community but also strengthens the bond between our societies. We look forward to a fruitful collaboration with IPS."

The PSHK remains committed to promoting the development of physics in Hong Kong and fostering international collaboration. This agreement with IPS is a key milestone in achieving these goals.
